Blessing Mark

“Never underestimate the difference you can make in the lives of others. Step forward, reach out and help. This week reach to someone that might need a lift.”
– Pablo

Our friend Mark never asks for anything, he is always happy with the food and items that we give him. That’s just the way he is, he mows a couple of yards, and walks all over town picking up soda cans to make a little money to buy food for his fur babies and a soda for himself.

He lives alone, rattlesnakes, black racer snakes, and swamp rats abound all around him. Blind in one eye, and a brain malformation from birth, he struggles daily.

Recently we were talking about football, and after we left on our way back home I told Angie that I really wanted to think about getting Mark a generator for his camp, but I didn’t know how we could pull it off.

This is where God entered the conversation, we made a post in our Facebook group about our wishes to make Mark’s life better by getting him a generator.

God listens…God provides…

Within 24 hours we had two donors who gave a total of $400.00 towards our goal, one was an individual, the other a local church. We thank them so much for their caring hearts, and helping us to better a life.

Today I am happy to let you know that I purchased a generator, extension cord, lights, and cart for the generator. We will soon surprise our friend with his gifts.

Imagine being able to have lights at night after years of nothing but a camp light, or running a box fan on the 100 degree days that we so often have.

Imagine the feeling of knowing that someone cares for you…
