“Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye”…H. Jackson Brown Jr.
How true, how true, especially dealing with homeless people.
They are seen as dirty, ragged clothing, teeth missing, dumpster diving misfits.
Aren’t we glad that our hearts can see through all of the descriptions handed down to our friends?
After all, they are God’s children, the same as you and I, but in unfortunate circumstances.
Listen to them, hear their story, you’d be surprised.
They led ordinary lives like you and I. They had homes, families, jobs, and fate took them down the trail to being homeless.
Fate…what will be yours in the coming years…or mine…
