Little Feet

It has been said that the littlest feet make the biggest imprint in our heart…

As an Advocate you prepare yourself for almost anything, or any story.

Some people make you mad, some make you sad, some make you want to sit down and cry.

This one really bothered me, I have been thinking about this all day long.

I’ve never been one to judge people, and I am too old to start now.
I can’t read a person’s mind, nor their heart.

Today Angie and I were asked about a homeless couple who were traveling through our town.
They camped in a local park, the woman who was pregnant went into labor, and was taken to the hospital.

At the hospital many emotions went through the parents minds, none of which I could even imagine.

They decided to sign their rights away to the baby, again I can’t read their mind, but I have to say that as difficult as it was to give their child up, they did it in love, and hope for a better life for this precious child.

The baby is in a God loving Foster Home being taken care of, with no worries.

I hope God blesses this homeless couple, I hope they find the end of their journey, and a better life. Love will make us do many things…even give a child up.
