Many of you know the song Standing On The Promises of God, and have sung it often at your church.
In 2015 when Hearts was born, Angie,Richard, and I decided that Hearts, and we the Admins, would stand on the promises of God.
We would not be 501c because that was too easy, to easy to call on help, instead of working hard to accomplish the work. When you put forth the effort, and depend on God to provide the items needed for our Homeless friends, everyone is pleased.
How does God provide, you might ask. By touching the hearts of our Family in Hearts For Homeless, they provide everything we need to make lives more comfortable.
Our members are anxious, and eager to help. They understand that at any given moment, they could be the next homeless one.
The smiles, the laughter, the God Bless You’s are all worth the work, and we always leave the camps with a feeling that they are blessing us, more than we are them.
I don’t know how many more days God is going to let me do this work, I hope it is many. If it’s not I’m leaving it in great hands with my partners, Angie and Richard.
God has a plan, and a promise,we just need to listen, and stand on his promises…
